We love the cities and communities where our apartments are located. So many wonderful places to eat and shop and exciting things to do. Now with restrictions easing, many cities are bringing back outdoor events. Here’s a few ideas to consider:
Marina del Rey features a range of activities, from free outdoor concerts to jaw-dropping fireworks displays. You can check the events calendar here for updated information (link).
4TH OF JULY FIREWORKS — Marina del Rey’s waterfront fireworks show attracts spectators from throughout the Southland. Fireworks will return in 2021. More details to come!
MARINA DRIVE IN MOVIES– Gather with your family and friends to watch movies on the big screen by the sea in Marina del Rey. The Los Angeles County Department of Beaches & Harbors presents Marina Drive-In Movie Nights – More here: Marina Drive In series.
Costa Mesa is the City of Arts. Enjoy Broadway productions and concerts at Segerstrom Center for the Arts, experience designer shopping at South Coast Plaza, boutique shopping at The OC Mix, and support “little American business” at The LAB and The CAMP, just to name a few.

OC Fair — It’s “Time for Fun” as the OC Fair return in person July 16 – August 15, 2021!
Happy Hour– The Costa Mesa Happy Hour scene can be experienced every night of the week with so many independently owned and diverse dining options; some with live music and dinner shows throughout the week. It’s a great time to explore this popular foodie town and support local businesses.
Concerts @ The CAMP — Free, outdoor Concerts @ The Camp every Thursday evening at 5:30 p.m through September 30.
There are many things to do this summer in Riverside.
Concert Series — The Rhythm of Riverside Summer Nights in the Park Concert Series celebrates summer by bringing music enthusiasts, families and people from all walks of life together to experience evenings of musical harmony. Held on Wednesday nights, the Rhythm of Riverside Summer Nights in the Park Concert Series runs for six weeks from June through July.
4th of July – The annual 4th of July Spectacular free aerial fireworks shows commemorate the birth of our country by launching scores of aerial shells and other fireworks into the night sky over Mt. Rubidoux.
Orange is planning in-person city-wide special events starting with its 3rd of July Celebration and Concert in the Park series. This community event features music, children’s activities, games, food trucks, and an authentic hometown atmosphere. The finale begins with a patriotic performance by the Orange Community Master Chorale, and concludes with a spectacular fireworks display.
